Rawi ("we", "our", "the app") is a macOS teleprompter application built with privacy as a core principle. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. Data We Collect

The Rawi app itself collects no data. All speech recognition, text processing, and scrolling happens entirely on your device using Apple's built-in Speech framework. Nothing is sent to our servers or any third party.

Our website (alrawi.app) may collect:

• Email address — when you sign up for a trial or make a purchase. Used to deliver your download link, license key, and product updates.
• Payment information — processed by Lemon Squeezy (our payment provider). We never see or store your credit card details.
• Analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand website traffic. This is cookie-based and you can opt out via your browser settings or our cookie banner.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Send you the download link and license key
• Provide product support
• Send important product updates (rare, no spam)

3. Data Storage

Email addresses are stored in Supabase (hosted in the EU). Payment data is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing (their privacy policy)
• Resend — transactional email delivery (their privacy policy)
• Google Analytics — website analytics (opt-out available)

5. Your Rights

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing rawi@alrawi.app. We will delete your information within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Rawi is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
